Mechanism of Action

Clobetasol Propionate functions by binding to glucocorticoid receptors in the skin cells. Once attached, it triggers a cascade of cellular responses that inhibit the production of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes. This leads to a reduction in redness, swelling, and itching. Additionally, it suppresses immune responses locally, making it effective in treating autoimmune-related skin diseases.

Indications and Uses
